Big Things Are Taking Shape at W&FLC

Pardon our dust!

At W&FLC, community has always been at the heart of everything we do. Whether you've joined us for a workshop, attended an event, connected with one of our support services, or watched your child explore STEM, you've helped shape what comes next.

As our community continues to grow and change, so are we.

Behind the scenes, we're taking a fresh look at how we deliver programs and services across the shoreline. We're building on what works, exploring new ideas, strengthening community connections, and creating even more opportunities for people of all ages to learn, connect, grow, and thrive.

That means continuing the support services many people know us for while expanding opportunities for education, family programming, community engagement, and meaningful experiences that bring people together.

For those who have been with us for years, we're excited to get back out into the community in new ways, reconnect with familiar faces, meet new ones, and continue being a place where people know they belong.

This page is currently under construction while we shape the future of W&FLC Programs. There's still plenty of work ahead, but we're excited about where we're headed and can't wait to share more along the way!

Launching early Fall 2026.

Building Tomorrow. Supporting Today.

While we work on what's next, our commitment to the community remains the same.

If you're looking for support, resources, information, or simply aren't sure where to start, we're here to help.

No matter where you're coming from or what you're facing, we're here to help you find the right next step.

Personalized Support, Just for You

Guided Assistance Program (GAP)

Not sure where to start? You’ve found the right place.

The Guided Assistance Program (G.A.P.) is at the heart of our work. When you reach out, you’re connected one-on-one with a Referral Navigator who listens, understands, and helps you figure out what comes next.

Support might come from trusted community resources, or from programs right here at Women & Family Life Center.

This is where people turn when they don’t know where else to.
You don’t need to have the answers before you call.

Lawyer Time Program

Financial Consultation Program

Achieve Career Program

Navigating legal issues can feel overwhelming. Legal Consultations provide community members with the opportunity to meet one-on-one with a volunteer legal professional to better understand their rights, explore available options, and learn more about the legal process.

Common topics may include family law matters such as divorce, custody, visitation, and child support, as well as landlord-tenant concerns, probate questions, small claims issues, and other civil legal matters.

These sessions are intended for legal education and information only. They do not provide legal advice, establish an attorney-client relationship, include legal representation, or offer pro bono legal services. Criminal matters cannot be addressed through this service.

Appointments are available by appointment only and are currently booking 1–2 months in advance.
