W&FLC coordinates short-term, private counseling for survivors of domestic violence and/or their loved ones.
Umbrella Center services include individual counseling, support groups, safety planning, filing of restraining orders and emergency shelter/housing.
The Sexual Assault Crisis Services (SACS) program out of the Women and Families Center (WFC) provides support for survivors of sexual violence and/or their loved ones. The WFC Sexual Assault Crisis Services (SACS) Program offers a 24-hour hotline; in-person support at hospitals and police stations; short-term counseling and support groups; and help navigating medical, police and legal systems.
W&FLC partners with WBDC to host workshops, coaching and training programs, together making a difference in people’s lives.
WBDC supports economic prosperity for women through entrepreneurial, financial and education services to create sustainable jobs and businesses in CT.
In partnership with Hope After Loss, W&FLC provides a Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support Group. Connect with others who have experienced pregnancy and infant loss at our Center.

Since their start just 5 years ago in 2015, Bare Necessities has served over 275 families and distributed over 396,000 diapers. Click here to learn more about their organization.
You may drop-off your donations at the Center Monday-Friday, 9:00-3:00 pm. Acceptable items include opened and unopened packages of diapers; new packages of wipes.
Bare Necessities will distribute the donations to families across Branford, Guilford, Madison, Clinton and Old Saybrook.
Women Recreating Retirement (WRR) is a group of retired & semi retired women who meet for camaraderie, traveling and volunteering in the community.
WRR has bimonthly meetings covering a broad range of topics and they have small special interest groups such as bridge, mahjong, Pinocle, golf, walking, movies, theater, “Lunch Bunch”, stitching and books.
WRR has something for everyone.
